Orange City was named for the orange groves around it and incorporated in 1882.

Its historic places include the Orange City Historic District and the red-brick Town Hall with its clock cupola.

Blue Spring State Park, near Orange City, is the draw each winter.

Manatees crowd the spring run when the water outside turns cold.

One news report counted a record 932 manatees there on January 21, 2024. Few local scenes are easier to picture on a wall.

Orange City is about 13 minutes from our Deltona studio: Howland Boulevard, then East Graves Avenue (both CR 4145).

Can you paint a mural of Blue Spring for my business?

Yes. Natural scenery is Holly’s specialty, from a spring run to a sunset.

Send a photo of the wall and any pictures you love, and we will send a sketch and a quote first.

Do you teach art classes for Orange City kids?

Yes. Our home studio is in Deltona, about 13 minutes away, and classes also run virtually.

Ask about mobile and one-on-one sessions. We are a direct pay provider with Step Up For Students.

Can I commission a painting of the manatees?

Yes. Tell us the size and the mood, a crowded winter run or a quiet morning, and we sketch it first.

Holly also hides a pair of cardinals in every painting, in memory of Holly’s parents.
