This painting was inspired by the night sky the evening my mother passed. It symbolizes a beacon lighting the path through a dark night. I finished this one right before Nova was born during the summer of 2017, as her name is discretely written in the sand. 
The turquoise tone brings a bright monochrome addition to any space.
